Sometimes the only copy you still have is a smaller export, a website image, or a social-media file. RC Restore AI gives that smaller file more resolution so you can work with it again.
Upscaling only works if faces still look like photographs. Compare the same facial area in the source and the 4× output to see how skin texture, edges, and fine detail hold together.
Skin, sharp detail, soft backgrounds, shadows, and highlights do not need the same texture. Adaptive Grain reads those areas separately and adjusts the grain so the finished image feels like one photograph again.
Use it after Restore, or on its own when a digital image needs a more natural photographic finish.
